Privacy Policy
What we collect, why we collect it, who processes it on our behalf, and the choices you have.
PeakOps, Inc. ("PeakOps," "we," "us") builds verified operational records for field-service and construction businesses. This policy describes what personal information we collect through our websites — peakops.net and the public pages of app.peakops.app — why we collect it, and how we handle it. It describes only what we actually do.
Information we collect
We collect information you give us directly:
- Intake-form data. When you submit the "One Stuck Job" form we collect your company name, your name and role, email address, phone number (optional), the payers you submit closeouts to, the range of your documentation-stuck receivables, your closeout volume, and anything you write about the job you'd hand us.
- SMS consent records. If you check the optional appointment-texts box, we record that you consented, the UTC time of your submission, the page you consented on, and the version of the disclosure language you saw. A phone number by itself is never treated as SMS consent.
- Booking data. When you book a call we collect the name, email address, phone number, and appointment time you provide through our scheduling provider.
- Basic technical data. Our forms capture standard campaign parameters (such as UTM tags) when they are present in the page URL, and our hosting provider keeps ordinary server logs (such as IP address and request time) to operate and secure the sites.
We do not run third-party advertising trackers on these pages, and we do not buy personal information about you from data brokers.
Why we collect it
- To respond to your inquiry and evaluate the stuck job you send us.
- To schedule, confirm, remind you about, reschedule, or cancel appointments you request.
- To operate, secure, and improve our websites.
- To keep records we are legally required to keep, including evidence of SMS consent.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with anyone for their own advertising or marketing.
Appointment text messages (SMS)
PeakOps runs a single, appointment-only SMS program:
- Messages are limited to booking confirmations, appointment reminders, rescheduling notices, and cancellation notices. We do not send marketing or promotional text messages.
- You receive texts only if you affirmatively checked the SMS-consent box (which is never pre-checked) or asked us to text you about an appointment.
- Message frequency varies with your appointment activity.
- Message and data rates may apply, depending on your carrier and plan.
- Reply STOP at any time to opt out. Reply HELP for help, or contact us at nick@peakops.net or (509) 309-8250.
- Consent to receive appointment texts is not a condition of purchase of any PeakOps product or service.
Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. The service providers that transmit our appointment messages receive your mobile number and message content only to deliver those messages on our behalf, and for no other purpose.
Service providers (processors)
We use a small set of service providers that process personal information only on our instructions and only to provide their services to us:
- GoHighLevel — our CRM and scheduling platform. Intake-form submissions, booking data, and SMS consent records are stored here, and appointment messages are sent through it.
- Twilio — telecommunications infrastructure used to deliver appointment text messages to your carrier.
- Vercel — hosting for our websites, including ordinary server logs.
- Google Workspace — our business email and internal documents, which may contain correspondence with you.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or as part of a corporate transaction such as a merger or acquisition, in which case this policy would continue to apply to information collected under it.
Retention
We keep intake and booking information for as long as we are actively working with you or reasonably need it to follow up on your inquiry, and then as long as applicable law requires. SMS consent and opt-out records are retained as evidence of consent for as long as we could be asked to demonstrate it. You can ask us to delete your information at any time (see below); we will honor the request except where we must keep a record to comply with law or document consent history.
Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the kind of information we handle, including access controls and encrypted transport. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we do not claim any third-party security certification or attestation.
Your choices and rights
- SMS: reply STOP to any message to opt out; reply HELP for help.
- Email: any non-transactional email we send includes a way to opt out, and you can always just tell us to stop.
- Access, correction, deletion: email nick@peakops.net and we will tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it, subject to the retention rules above. Depending on where you live, these choices may also be legal rights; we honor them for everyone regardless.
Children
Our websites and services are for businesses and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will post the new version at this address with a new effective date. Material changes to how we handle SMS consent will be communicated before they take effect.
